KEDIT for Windows 1.5 16-bit Service Level 3

To install this maintenance release, you must already have KEDIT for Windows 1.5 Service Level 1 (with KEDITW.EXE dated June 17, 1996), Service Level 2 (with KEDITW.EXE dated January 20, 1997), or Service Level 3 Beta 2 or 3 (with KEDITW.EXE dated August 20, 1997 or November 4, 1997) installed on your system. If you have some other version of KEDIT for Windows 1.5 on your system, you will need to reinstall KEDIT from the Version 1.5 distribution disks before running the patch program.
Download KW1516L3.ZIP from our FTP site. Then unzip the files in KW1516L3.ZIP into a temporary directory and run the resulting SETUP.EXE program.
The setup program will ask you to locate your existing copy of KEDITW.EXE. This can usually be found in your C:\KEDITW directory.
The setup program will then update your copy of KEDIT for Windows to Service Level 3.
The original KEDIT for Windows 1.5 Help file is dated June 1996. Some minor changes were made in January 1997 for Service Level 2, but the help file has not changed for Service Level 3, and most users will not need to download a new copy. If you do want to download a copy of the current help file, it is available as KW15HLP.ZIP (1.2 megabytes).
